Heart to Heart to the Rescue

Due to a previous post about families put out by FEMA, we have coordinated a response to this young ladies desperate letter to us. Lilly Kraver, our Bayou La batre liasion, in communication with Jb has arrived with volunteers in Bayou La Batre at 6 Pm to help with them and distribute food and goods for their needs. This young lady saw the news on TV in Mobile last night and contacted us via the website with her plea for help.

Lilly said,"It is a wonderful thing you all are doing with this website, that we were able to identify and save thirty families that were so desperate.

Now This!
Hello, This is Randi Lynn Roberson. Thank you so much for all the help you
have sent my way. The group came to the rv park and delivered food to all
the FEMA trailers here. Thanks You!!! Randi Lynn Roberson.

Comments:
There are several families in the semmes community that have been severly affected by Katrina. My son has been in and out of the doctors office since the storm, this last month I have spent more on meds and doctor visits than power and groceries combined. If you could please post the distribution points It would be extremely helpful.

My Name is Carolyn Barnes. I live in Bayou La Batre and my family and I are now living in a FEMA provided travel trailer on our property. I thank GOD for people all across the country, like yourselves, that have shown such compassion for our little town. This was once a beautiful, quiet place to live....it will be again...God Willing!
Thanks you and God Bless,
Carolyn

My name is Carolyn Barnes and I live in the city of Bayou La Batre. My family and I now live in a FEMA provided travel trailer on our property. It's small but we are adjusting to it. We are so thankful to all the people across the country, like yourselves who have opened up their hearts to our small little town. "The Bayou" is a great little fishing town with lots of wonderful friends and families. We may struggle for awhile, but we will endure. Thank you again for all you are doing. God Bless you and keep you safe on your journey.
God Bless You,
Carolyn

I have posted some pictures on my personal BLOG of my home during and after the storm and of my FEMA home! http://carolynsedm310blog.blogspot.com
