Thanksgiving Food Drive
Please join your friends and neighbors in providing Thanksgiving dinner for our friends in Alabama who are still recovering from hurricane Katrina.
From Oct 29th to November 13th canned and frozen goods will be collected throughout the Bay Hundred area and shipped to bayou La Batre in time for Thanksgiving.
300 families will be fed but only if you help!
Dinner Items being Collected
Canned vegetables
Canned Potatoes
Canned Cranberry Sauce
Boxed stuffings and Biscuit mix
Canned Pie Filling
Boxed Pie crust
Canned Chicken Broth
Jars and cans of Gravy
Poultry seasoning
Frozen Turkeys
Cash donations can also be made to purchase Turkeys at the drop off boxes..Payable to:SMCC/Katrina Relief

This Thanksgiving, as we all sit around the table with fanily and friends we indeed have much to be thankful for. Please invite the people of Bayou La Batre, through your generous donations, to join us at our table for dinner, so they too, will be able to share in the company of family and friends on this holiday.

This is such a wonderful way for everyone in the community to contribute to the Katrina Victims and to know immediately where their contribution will go. We will be giving these families a sence of normalcy and hope.
